  • Why am I being charged for shipping?

    Please I will like to know why my sh is being charged for drop offs I made on the 31-07-2015.
    I was really startled when my assistant came back from konga drop off center with the manifest copy only for me to discover a list of shipping charges amounting to N7, 500  for orders I'm not even sure the customers will accept eventually. I did not set *free delivery* on any of my products or location so I can't just tell what went wrong and I saw this late Friday and being calling customer care for some explanations but can't get through,  please I'm really pained with this and need an explanation because I can't possibly be doing business for konga ; after paying increased commissions then I will be forced to make pre-shipping charges when I'm not sure the customers are serious. ..We are all in this for profit ,no point if one is being ripped off.

    Really appreciate your concerns for my complaints. I am highly impressed by the prompt action taken by your team today in returning the excess shipping fee previously charged to my account, and in the meantime kept me in touched with phone calls and emails.

    Sincerely, this kind of reply shows how konga treats sellers complaints. In my earlier comments below, I mentioned clearly that I have sent several emails and even made calls to no avail, yet you are still asking me to send an email to mail@konga.com and to also believe that the case will be attended to in quickest time. 
    Truly, I received several promises that the money will be returned within 24 hours, but nothing as ever happened.
    Even Konga.com Support is on the matter, yet nothing has ever happened.

    The shipping cost for Lagos is #500.Shipping fee for cities is capped at #1000 and any other location is capped at #1500 when using K-express.
    
    Kindly confirm the location of the buyer to ascertain the correct shipping fee. Also send a mail to mall@konga.com with the order number for the transaction and our team will help you resolve within the shortest possible time.

    Sending the affected order number has not changed any cause for the return of the money deducted from my shq account  since 3 weeks now. 
    Even calls to customer care is to no avail.

    I was charged an addition of N500 with the N1,000 already paid for shipping by the buyer.
    In fact, the N500 has been deducted without return to my shq account for more than 3 weeks now.
    
    Sincerely, discourage on selling on Konga.com

    Here is the process;
    
    When you drop off at a K-Express location, you get a manifest charge for K-Express shipped orders. You will not be asked to pay before shipping. The shipping charge on the orders which will be paid by the customer will make up for the K-Express charge once your wallet is funded for the successfully delivered order.

    I think Konga mods needs to be proactive in replying to mails here.
    @jide your response has not answered the issue raised by Emmanuel.
    I guess Emmanuel is either using kexpress for the first time or he his new on the platform.
    To Emmanuel, be calm,no charges has been made on your shq,the manifest is just to let you know the shipping fee you incurred on those orders,it will only be deducted if those order are successfully delivered and also,note that,the shipping charge has been incorporated in the total amount the buyer is paying.
    I guess Konga is only doing this manifest since they implore all merchants to offer free shipping.
    So be calm !
