Hi guys, We said we would listen to your concerns within the community and as a result, we would like to share some more detail with you around the K-Express delivery charges. - Once we launch nationwide at the end of March / Beginning of April, for the first 45 days, K-Express will NOT charge you for shipping at the counter. Delivery materials will also be provided to you at no cost. This is to create a seamless transition towards giving you a more sustainable seller experience. (NOTE that this applies to Lagos locations only) - K-Express will ONLY start charging for shipping charges at the counter from the 15th of May, 2015. (We will let you know in advance if this date changes.) - You will still be able to use any carrier you choose including; DHL, EMS, CHISCO, COURIER+ and many more, OR deliver to buyers yourself or ask them to pick-up at your store. Note that you will be required to pay for shipping at the counter when you use any other carrier. - During this period, K-Express will only charge you for successful deliveries. The delivery Fee will ONLY be deducted after the successful delivery. The actual deduction will be based on the weight of the order and the actual cost of delivery. - The Konga Marketplace will be open to Sellers in all capital cities in Nigeria from the 31st of March, 2015. You will not be able to drop off at K-Express outside Lagos. If you are shipping from outside Lagos, then you will need to find a suitable local carrier. - We are currently in the process of introducing an escrow payment (a secure, flexible and powerful payment system) with all banks that will reduce the rate of Pay-On-Delivery from buyers and encourage buyers to make payment at the point of placing their orders. It will also enable you to be sure that buyers have paid BEFORE you ship. Got comments, feedback and suggestions?
