  • Should I Ship if I Cannot Reach A Buyer??

    I recently received an order and I accepted immediately. Having read through some other merchant experiences on this Forum, I decided to contact the merchant to confirm if they placed the order and also to see if they still want the product. I have attempted to contact the buyer via email/message centre and also telephone to no avail. What particularly concerns me is that when I call the phone number provided; I get the voice message 'number not available'.
    The buyer is based outside Lagos which is why I am very concerned. As with all merchants, I am under the constraint of shipping to buyers within the 48hr window. Is it wise to go ahead ship to this buyer if I do not hear from him?

    Hello All,
    In the scenario where the customer is unreachable, kindly send an email to mall@konga.com with the affected order numbers, our helpdesk team will assist in reaching out to the customer via alternative means if possible.

    Exactly the same question i was about to ask here, of one of my buyer, his telephone number is not going through and he chooses pay on delivery options, i have send him emails but he doesn't reply non pick his call, and now its remaining 2days for me to ship, should i just allow the 2days to pass so that the order can be cancel or is there any alternative, i cannot just sent my items to Ghost when the person is not available

    Glad to read this. I couldn't reach a buyer when I tried to call also. Was very concerned and cancelled the order because it was an incomplete address and out of State. Did not want to wait for this item to go out and eventually find it's way back home, while holding my breath. Glad to have the cancel option, but need to use it wisely, so it doesn't count against the shop.

    Wow! Thanks for the advice Ndeesor. I will keep trying to reach the buyer and if I don't get a response, I will have to cancel the order! I just can't risk sending my goods outside Lagos to a potentially fraudulent buyer.

    Its not advisable bridget
    most at times i get buyers but when i called them you discover they were just window shopping.
    ensure you speak to the buyer and explain to him/her that you want to send the item accross
