  • Reduced commissions for yakata

I am aware that Konga has reduced commissions for the Yakata sales to help sellers out. For instance, my products that were formerly 10% commission are now 5%. I would like to further request that minimum commissions be halved as well to help sellers with low cost items. This means that instead of a minimum of N200, it would be N100 for the Yakata sales. Thank you and I hope that this is put into consideration

    Hello Silas,

Thank you for your feedback, While we understand your concerns, these commission are put in place to ensure sustainable provision of essential services that will be beneficial to our sellers, our customers and the company as a whole.
For small value items,You may want to consider bundling products to make more sales and attract more customers.
A bundle can consist of two or three items in high demand and sold at a giveaway price. In another situation, it can also be a bundle with items known to have little sales impact and another in high demand. In this case the item in high demand is the selling factor or marketing tool.

To clarify, I am not asking for a further reduction of the commissions in general. I am only asking that this halving be applied to the minimum commission as well. As it stands, the reduction by half does not apply to low cost items. If I am selling goods worth N500, I won't matter if the commission is 10% or 5%, I would still be paying N200 as commission.

    Hello Silas,
As you already mentioned the commissions have already been reduced by half for the yakata participants.
At this point we will be unable to reduce our commissions any lower.

    Thank your for your feedback.
