  • ORDER REJECTED BY CUSTOMER BECAUSE OF SHIPPING CHARGES

    Good morning.
    
    Please I would like Konga to see into the issue of customers who make order from different stores and have to pay shipping for different items because the orders have to come differently.
    
    I have an issue of a customer rejecting an order when it got to her. 
    
    I spoke to her and she explained that she placed orders on different stores and thought the orders would all come together so she has to pay shipping cost once but from indications, she has to pay shipping as the order comes individually and to her, it does not make sense.
    
    She went ahead to say Konga was not serious and that she does not intend to pay for the order items when they finally get to her.
    
    This is bad for business as both the seller and Konga would be at a loss.
    
    I would love if Konga could look for a better solution for buyers who place order from different store so they don't end up rejecting orders because of shipping charges.

    As seen from the illustration, this customer pays once for shipping charges when checking out.
    
    Unfortunately, when I spoke to the buyer she said she was being charged for shipping from the different buyers she has placed order with.
    
    I had to draw attention to it.

    Apologies for this unfortunate incident. As previously communicated to both customers and sellers, shipping is charged on a store level because these items are sold by various individuals throughout the country on the Konga mall.
    Charging shipping on an order level means the sellers will have to bear the cost for shipping if customers place orders on several stores.This is the reason why all items have a shipping cost on them.
    
    Customers are aware that shipping charges are on a store level from the checkout page as illustrated.
    However we thank you for your feedback and will continue to push necessary information to both exisiting and new customers on all updates on the Konga mall.
