  • NEW SELLER HQ : How i have been handling Orders since Implentation

    Since the implementation of this new Seller HQ since Monday , the servers at the drop off centers have been down
    and so shipping out and meeting 48hrs deadline for most of we merchants as a nightmare.
    Also seems the drop off centers software interface has not been fully integrated with the New Seller HQ from their head office so its been a back and forth tussle for some of us just to ship out.
     As of today i had two Lagos Orders which i was able to deliver successfully with my own company delivery personnel, in fact both customers said they have never had an order from konga delivered within a 24hr record time.
    They both paid cash on delivery and i have updated the shipped items on the new seller HQ as "delivered" . So now i am waiting for buyers to confirm delivery of items on their end so konga can tag items as been successfully delivered.
    As for shipping outside Lagos, given this past month where i about 10 Orders returned or rejected by customers from different states due to either unseriousness or orders taking too long to get to them, i have cancelled POD option for anywhere outside lagos but i can also ensure prospective customers i shall ship with DHL or UPS and they get their orders within 5 days after being shipped out.
    The Challenges that have been faced by we merchants on this portal has been immense but we just have to keep making ways to persevere no matter the challenge faced . I still have Outstanding Orders of more than 240k to be returned , some since late as February but that doesn't stop us from the continual effort to build our brand on this  portal

    Ehis , im telling one just has to adapt to this very difficult transitional period ongoing at konga and find all means to just accept and ship orders if not your delivery rate ratings keep taking a hard beating which is not good for business at all
    Regards the returns of those orders since February, i contacted my merchant officer then but she told me to direct complaints to the mall@konga.com help desk that they facilitate a resolution faster but since then sadly to no avail.
    Hoping some the items are not missing in transit or so but nevertheless the show goes on!

    @Seyi. Nice Concept used, that same rule applies to my orders within the mainland for now. I must tell you that saves the heart attack most of the time. 
    In regards to your delayed orders as far back as February, you need to contact your store manager. he is responsible for facilitating your returns and even payments.

    Exactly. That will be what will be obtainable anytime soon. POD  to seller's locality and Free shipping for a minimum value of order. My own concern is that they should tell the drop off centers to accept items brought for shipping. Why will I pay logistic agent to drop off my orders and they will be turned back  Reason "I didn't specify shipping method when accepting order." Is there any option like that? I am not cool with it o. I am loosing  orders and money paid logistic partner to drop the items .They should fix please!
