    Dear all,

We appreciate your feedback and comments. While we understand your concerns, the increase in commission charges across all product categories is to ensure sustainable provision of essential services that will be beneficial to our sellers, our customers and the company as a whole.

As the new rates take effect on Friday July 31st 2015, we encourage you to consider product bundling for low and medium valued items in order to manage the minimum commission value that will be capped at N200.

For other suggestions regarding the commission rates and other sustainable ways to improve the marketplace, please channel through suggestions@konga.com

    Thank you

@YOMI B, you got it. I really must say that to some extent I am disappointed at Konga. I thought by now Konga would have been able to get to a level whereby sellers would not be having issues like these with them. Yes Konga is one of the biggest market place if not the BIGGEST in Nigeria, but are they carrying their market sellers along? No I do not think so. Who would ever think that the commission for Fashion should be the highest or one of the highest? Yes people buy clothes nearly everyday, but do you sit to think at what price these people are buying these clothes? If you stay in Lagos State, try visiting yaba market and see how quickly clothes are sold there, it is because these clothes are sold at very affordable prices. How does Konga expect us to sell at affordable prices when the commission is so high? like I said in one of my earlier posts, I suspect Konga is trying to phase out its fashion marketplace sellers.

Looks like we are just working for konga!! New rates with all the competition on konga, this is too much. 15% on fashion products, not really sure who makes this decision. And on top of that you have to wait 2 months to get paid or even longer!! If fashion products is the biggest seller, it will make more sense to reduce that commission rate cos of volume. And also the pay on delivery is not making sense at all!! Customer order randomly even when they know they have no money to pay and make excuses when courier shows up, not my size, not the colour, doesn't fit well. They need to take some responsibilities for their actions. Konga should make customers fund their wallet and have enough money to cover their order and wait for 2 weeks to get their money back if not satisfied. That way they will think properly before they make random orders that they will never accept or pay for. Konga team, wake up please. If sellers cannot make sales or get our money in time, whats the point of selling here!!!

welcome aboard @ ABIOLA C, I thought I was the only one facing this same issues. The items I put on sale since weekend I have not sold one, now imagine where I have to increase the price because of New commission rates, what is the guarantee I will sell any? Things are getting crazier by the day.

Howdy, Stranger!
