    I got a mail that KExpress charges have been increased and that Customers will have to pay while placing orders.
    That aspect of customers paying while placing orders to me is the b0ne of c0ntention because you've said it several times on this platform that Ecommerce thrives on Pay on Delivery in Nigeria. How convenient and convincing will it sound to our buyers if they are asked to pay a little fee before shipping and then balance up on Delivery (that's for those who choose Pay on Delivery).
    Secondly, for those who offer Free shipping, who pays for a seller who chooses Pay on Delivery at the point of placing such order. What happens also when such product is returned eventually, will that mean Seller will be made to pay since buyer won't be paying for either the product or the shipping.

    Hahahaha Konga you people are funny.A customer just bought a pair of sandals from my store for #1,800 Naira and you are shipping it for #3000 because she lives in Kwara state.You can equally tell them to stop buying things from your online store, I think that is better than using this K-leg express of yours to chase my customers away.

    @Tina ,
    The new shipping rate was implemented on Saturday. This disparity may be due to the time the order was placed.
    Kindly forwarded the affected order number to mall@konga.com. This will be looked into

    I shipped an order on Saturday to Abuja via k express, the customer was charged N1000 but to my surprise I was given an invoice for N1250. Please why the disparity?

    @Adebayo A and @Miriam,
    Konga will bear the cost of shipping for the affected items. I believe Konga is currently offering free shipping. I also complained before shipping an order and was told that Konga will take care of it. Cheers

    Has anyone experienced this? I removed free shipping from my store for 3days now it's still not effected on live site and customers are placing orders leaving me at loss. I changed the prices but they are not effected too. I have sent mail and got response it will be rectified, two days after no show yet.
    I don't know if I should put my store on holiday mode till they fix this.

    I agree that Konga may have one of the lowest shipping rates in the industry right now, but making customers pay shipping charges separately for each merchant item under the same order does not really sound good.
    Konga can insist that all items under a particular order be dropped off by merchants within 24 hrs and that way ensure that all the items are shipped as a single unit to the nearest K-express destination office. It's all about optimization of the shipping process. Customers are more likely to take advantage of reduced shipping fees to buy more items in a single order.
    You can also provide an option for merchants to indicate drop off timeline for their items while listing them. It then becomes easier to group items based on the shipping timeline and advise customer at the point of purchase that the items will ship separately or at once. So customers can enjoy lower shipping charges for items that are shipped together.
    There has to be a better way of ensuring that customers enjoy the best shipping rate on the platform while buying all they wish to buy under a single order.
    Konga please review this again and carry out further research to see how other platforms are achieving low shipping rates for customers' bulk orders.

    @Ana, a customer is NOT required to pay shipping charges at the point of placing an order.
