  • Monthly fees - what is in it for merchants

    So like joke like joke Konga is moving forward with this monthly substitution fees...my question at this point how does it benefit us to pay monthly subscription and commission what is konga doing in addition to these monthly charges ...to be fair to us merchants we need to see changes 
    1. Rate of return is still high despite complain - contributing factors Kos delays and unserious buyers. ( for every returns, merchant is at loss for shipping and printing logistics) with this monthly fee - konga should have free printing facilities at drop of location to print invoices it is only fair since you guys can't do anything about returns rate.
    2. Technical issues - with the new Shq - there has been numerous technical issues reported, I cannot edit quantity and price for some of my goods I have sent numerous emails and even created a thread for this issue here, till date issue still exist 
    3. Kos delays - why is being done about these delays that eventually lead to returned orders. I have an order than has been at Kos lekki since 23rd March I sent emails and yet order is still at stand still - now if this order is returned - I will be at loss - (1.) for transporting goods to Kos location (2.) for printing 
    4. Responding via mall@konga.com in a timely manner 
    
    This is noT fair at all- Konga pls clean up your house before introducing these ridiculous and outrageous fees.

    Like seriously, how convenient for Konga.. 0 sales = 2500 (1000).. That seems too convenient for me..
    
    So, cos of the reduction of sales, to reduction of commission which ends in a reduction of pocket money for Konga - the Merchants have to Pay from their noses right.. 
    
    Sorry Konga... Get real, or your business heads for the rocks..!

    Dear KOnga team - pls do the needful on this issue for almost 2 months I have not been able to edit a few of my products ....numerous emails has been sent to konga mall with screenshot yet no solution has been communicated. It is not fair to ask me to pay 2500 for rent while I can't even update my products these are my best sellers....pls fix this asap.

    I have said it many times that Konga is buyer oriented. Why should we be paying monthly subscription and commission on sales both at the same time? 
    That's rip off? For sometime I have not been able to upload products due to technical issues associated with image upload.
    High rate of return continues.
    Unserious buyers.
    Little or no sales.
    Still Konga is not concerned but always wants to maximize profit through ripping off sellers on their platform.
    This is highly unfair.
    Konga should tell us the benefits of this monthly subscription and give a trial period for all merchants for us to be convinced that it really worth it.

    The monthly subscription is by no means a way of exploiting merchants but rather to crystallize the platform. 
    
    With regards to your numerous issues, we sincerely apologize if they have not been attended to,  do kindly send a mail to mall@konga.com, and these cases will be revisited. 
    
    For all other concerns mentioned, our Team will look at it all over, and make necessary improvements. 
    
    We thank you again for your open comments., and we'll surely continue to ensure your trading process is fluid on Konga.

    Again it is only right that konga does the needful, you can't expect us to pay monthly fees with all these ongoing issues. If I send out 6 orders in a months and  all orders are returned due to Kos delays and unserious buyers, you guys will still expect me to pay monthly subscription upon not making any sales. Me not being able to edit products has obviously impacted sales for almost 2 months with all the back and forth email issue not resolved. 
    
    Pls do the needful, if we see long term benefits minus all these issue it won't be a problem paying monthly subscription.

    Unable to edit products on new myshq - can't edit quantity or prices for almost 2 months now. Issue not resolved but you guys expect me to pay monthly fees

    Order in transit since March 23.. Despite numerous emails ..no update or movement on order yet I am expected to pay monthly fees
