I take all the pics of my products myself...shirts, paintings, stationary etc My shop is http://www.konga.com/. You can save time and money if you master these simple steps.
Here are some tips:
1- Get a phone with at least 2 megapixels camera. The higher the megapixels, the sharper the pic. (Konga requires pictures to be 500 x 500 pixels that translates to having a camera phone of at least 2 mp for a picture size of 1600 x 1200 -putting the unwanted space into consideration). I use my Infinix which has 8 mp.
2- Place your boxed item or fashion model on a white surface under good light e.g outside in strong sunlight or indoors in the evening under florescent lamps.
3- Place an L-shaped or U-Shaped white backdrop around the white surface to deflect light and eliminate any shadows. Better still draped a white cloth over the vertical frame to drape without corners over the table (like professional photographers do)
4- Focus the camera phone until you see the image is quite sharp Set your arm on a steady surface or prop your phone on a support and use its self timer mode. THEN CLICK.
5- You can edit and crop the pic further on your phone or bluetooth the image to a computer and edit on Windows picture editor or Photoshop (like I do). NOTE:-You can use Adobe Photoshop to remove unwanted background of images. For this you use the outline tools and crop tools. Next, save them as .jpeg files which Photoshop will automatically give a 255 pure white background.
Adobe now has free downloads of Photoshop CS2 one of the oldest but still viable edition.
6- Send and crop the pic on your Konga Shop
SYNOPSIS- Elements that determine the quality of photos and prints include:
Good lighting of a subject
Proper focus and exposure
Image clarity (lack of blur due to camera shake or incorrect shutter speed)
Shooting at the highest resolution and quality camera settings
P>S I might give a more detailed description on a new thread when I have the time.

You can search for the images on google using the name/brand of the product and you could also take them to a professional photographer for shooting & editing or contact email@example.com.
Hope this helps
