    Hi Konga,
I would suggest you people implement the the "Free Shipping" & "Pay On Delivery" at the product level just the way you implement the Return Policy option.

    My reasons are:
    1. I may choose to ship certain items for free having considered the weight of the product while some would be paid for. Or as a means of promoting certain items on my store, i can offer free shipping instead of a price slash!

    2. As regards PoD, I suggest that Merchant should be able to choose only upfront payments on high value products. For instance, I have a pair of shoes worth N50,000 and for whatever reason there is a return on the order, that automatically means the product will be off the market for at least 3 weeks(knowing how Konga handles returns, it may take 2-3 months to get the item back) and N50,000 is tied down which is bad for business.

From a merchant's perspective, I think this would be very convenient!

This issue have been raised severally ,sellers should be able to determine its own condition, especially this issue of free shipping, and pay on delivery,I can toy or let say gamble with an order 2k and not with order of 15k
I can also give free shipping to someone at the back of my house not to someone in gombe state,as far as concern, the idea of factoring shipping cost to product is resulting in cheating on some some customers and in some areas,it will be loss to merchants, because some areas are been charged 1.5k and some areas are charged 1k and people in Lagos are charged 500.with the look of this ,it is obvious I will have to charge an average of 1k,so who bears the rest for where its charged 1k,and how will a smart shopper feel,if he got to know am offering the same free shipping to someone in maiduguiri.
Pls,konga, free shipping or rates of shipping should be allowed to be set at the point of listing.
    Thank you!
