Since the introduction of monthly subscription, sales have been really bad. Konga should reconsider this monthly subscription and please don't subject us to that 20% commission. Konga is been unfair to merchants, please listen to us. don't forget there are new online shopping sites on the rise , its's only a matter of time if, you don't listen to your merchants.

@teju. The konga ads doesn't work and sales is really bad. Only konga can push traffic just the way theyve been doing it.buyers are not seeing products anymore like before.its not about price.some sellers skus whose price are even more high are placed on top pages and that's partiality.so buyers do get to see only those items and won't bother to scroll down.this is bad and things weren't like this before.you need to check the whole system and correct this issue

I decides not to comment on this issue, but on a second thought I felt otherwise , we as sellers also have a part to play in driving huge sales to our store, most of us just upload products and expect Konga to do all the work for us , but it's not that way ... there are various ways and platforms you can promote/advertise your store and drive sales to it...

That is very true. Since I paid my monthly subscription on May 30th, I've not had a single sale! Which was not the case before now. At least, it used to be an average of 1 or 2 per day. It's as if I dashed Konga money o. Everything just went down zap! Just like that. I even had to call to be sure my online store was still active.

Please, what is really going on?

Mr kene this your advice is very good o... so after konga takes 15percent commision and subscription Fee sellers should look For ways to drive sales and bring for konga...interesting put your acts together konga.. sales have gone really down so automatically sellers have to spread the profit on the little sales on smaller no of goods and still take out money For subscription..

    Permit me to quote you

dear you are not alone with the low sales numbers. In fact we had to email Konga on the issue but no one responded. I am struggling to remember the reason Konga have for introducing monthly fees. Instead of improvements, everything is going wrong; from increased platform errors, slower deliveries, increased shipping fees, unacceptably low sales, reduced efficiency on all fronts, this is not what was agreed. We are considering pulling the plug on our store anytime soon. It's no longer adding up!

I am expecting 7 returns from last week alone ! !!! They reduced delivery fees to 1000 and I think their delivery partners outside Lagos are sabotaging deliveries and sending them as returns.

Before the fee I had an average of one order per day now I go days without a single order. Go to the website and the first two pages are full of just konga sold items. Please justify this 2500 or I can consider pulling out!

    Hello Moyo/Ifeoma,

There are several strategies that can be used to drive sales to your store. First, ensure your pricing is competitive enough. Do understand that the marketplace is a perfect market and this means different sellers can list products and include any prices of their choice. An average online Shopper is price sensitive and searches for items based on the cheapest offer they can find. If your prices are competitive, we will also ensure we give you maximum visibility.

Second, your images and descriptions have to be clear, neat and easily understandable. Products on sale with scanty descriptions and poor images will get little sales.

Finally, we advise that you invest in advertisement whether on Konga or through other websites and Facebook. This has proven over time to generate sales for merchants that have done this in the past.

We encourage you visit our seller academy as well and learn more on driving traffic and sales to your store- http://selleracademy.konga.com
