If I can remember someone brought up this issue of stamp duty charge been deducted on every payment made through KongaPay and a konga representive here stated that an arrangement has been put in place to reduce the stamp duty charges when we use KongaPay. If so, why then is the 50 naira been charged everytime I receive a payment through KongaPay?

@ Yemisi I am using savings account for kongapay with firstbank and I am not debited N50 when konga payments are received in the account. You can consider using a savings account with a bank that doesn't charge stamp duty. Ask first as I'm aware some banks charge stamp duty on savings account.
    Happy selling.

if you only have one order per day i.e you have to pay N250/per week to CBN and N150/week as SMS =N400/week=N1600/month +N2500/month(compultry monthly rental)=N4100/month. Konga your platform is not for small business at all.

    @ Omolara,
What you stated was what you guys promised but so disastrous you turn us to charity to be given federal government 50# and 30for SMS to the bank on each notification.

    Hello Yemisi,

The stamp duty charge is being charged by CBN, we assured you that your funds will be merged together in order to reduce the charge. i.e. your total orders of the day are combined and made as one payment

I hope this explains your question.

    Thanks
