We have been refused shipping of lotions and creams via KOS Express since last week. This has created all manner of problems for us considering that many of our customers are from the far corners of the country that are not easily reached by other couriers and even when they do, is not price friendly.
Please take this as an appeal to review this directive. The problem is not shipping the lotions and creams it's more of packaging and handling.

In 7 months of selling on Konga, we have only one reported case of damage of liquid products and we did not make any claims for it because we discovered the problem was more from the packing. No item is damage proof and as such more energy should be exerted towards ensuring that the packaging is properly done and that your staff properly handle items put in their care.
I think it will be best you stop the selling of those items on your platform. For us, we are reviewing and will close down our store on konga if this persists and explore other options.

We commiserate with you on this issue, however, this rule is to ensure KOS services continue to run efficiently and for safety precaution purposes. We advise that all merchants who choose to sell these items should consider shipping through alternative delivery services. Please see the list of items KOS will NOT be ingesting below:
Coupled Furniture-(plastic chairs, tables etc)
Generators above 10kva
Bags of Rice
Bags of Cement
Liquids - cream, olive oil, etc
Perishables - food, vegetable
Glasses - Flower vessel, mug, etc
