  • Shipping items within 72hrs

    I read somewhere on another thread that items should be shipped within 72hrs. In an example where i am self delivering to a customer and the customer has set up a delivery date outside of the 72hrs, how do we handle this, so there is no negative impact on the seller's rating?

    Here is a screenshot of an accepted order with the system saying I have 6 days to ship, I believe this is a bug..and needs to be resolved asap as people are having stores suspended for not shipping on time and the system is giving them more than the 72hrs and if it cannot be resolved soon then it is fair to stop suspending stores as long as the item is shipped within the time allocated by the system.

    Ok but the system starts the shipping countdown with 5days once order has been accepted. Is this correct?? When I see 5 days I am under the assumption that I have 5 days to ship but come to find out we are getting penalized after 72hrs..this should be corrected then..
    
    Also how would it work with public holidays? I accept an order and there is 2 days public holiday,,,

    At the moment, the system is unable to hold the orders beyond 72 hours if not shipped. We therefore recommend (for now) that the customer replace the order at their convenience.
