I received an order yesterday 2nd June 2016 to deliver in Kastina state. Order price is 6k5, delivery 1k5 which bring it to a total of 8k. Let me say am based in PHC where Konga does not currently have a drop off point. on getting to courier plus am charged 2k5 for the shipping fee.
Doing a quick maths, 2k5 from 8k is 5k5. Konga will take their 15% commission. courier plus will take 2% for cash handling.
What is left is not even up to the cost price of the item.
The bad part is you cant increase the delivery fee, its given by default. i have called customer care to explain yet am told to please ship the item or explain to customer and beg customer to cancel because if i cancel the order, it will impact negatively on my store.
I think this is rather unfair because am not given options on what to do.
I still haven't shipped the item nor cancelled the order.

this has always been the plight of sellers outside lagos. Konga, you need to allow us change the shipping rates or select where we ship to. I have shipped at a loss severally now just for sake of continuity. It was not my intention to loose money when i joined Konga

We advise you to ship the order on time as cancellation of orders will affect your store negatively. You can visit our Seller Academy to learn more on setting your prices to accommodate excess delivery charges from other shipping partners. http://selleracademy.konga.com/
We also encourage you to contact the customer and provide updates on this as customer may be willing to pay additional charges for shipping. This should however not impact on the need to urgently ship the order as customer is already expecting delivery.
