Selling on KongaCreated 3 years ago

Can someone from Konga kindly let us know about the metrics involved in determining which products appear first when a customer conducts a product search for a particular product. Several times when I have searched for my company’s products, there are other products not necessarily related to search keyword that appear first. This is, of course, in cases where paid ad performance for individual products isn’t involved. This information will help us know the necessary steps to take as merchants in order to increase our visibility score.

Hello Ure, Visibility of an item in a store has a lot to do with naming the products when listing.
The search spans across all categories, the items shown are based on the keywords,
For instance, if you list a product as 'door mat' and a fellow merchant lists the very same item, 'half moon door mat' ,
The first products shown on the search result will be based on the keywords the customer has chosen like 'half moon' or 'door mat' or a combination 'half moon door mat'.
Pricing also plays a big role in visiblity, should the customer use certain filters like 'low to high' or "filter by price'
However, i would suggest you send a screenshot to firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm this isn't technical issue. I hope you find this helpful
