    Hello Eucharia,

It is highly important you get some form of commitment from the customer before you make such a bulk transaction (70% down payment is fair enough).
Getting him to make a pre-paid transaction (pay the funds to a Konga account) before shipping will be the right way to go. We rarely have cases of customers requesting for their money back after making a commitment.

    Hope this helps. Regards.

@Bewell, What if the customer needs his 70% percent back, saying he is no longer interested or That he needs to make other pressing expenses, maybe there is an emergency in the family. Will you deny him that?

Please be wise, online markets are meant to create a sense of security and transparency. If the order will be fulfilled by a the logistics people. Ie k-express or DHL then you don't have a problem cause the products will be exchanged for payment appropriately. It's in the period of self fulfil that you should be more careful with sending products to a customer using pay on delivery when a third party is not involved.

What did you mean Kafanchan if truly the Order is real ask the person to send 70% of the money to you first for the processing of the goods after the goods as gets to him he can then send the balance of 30%.

    Thats my own observation
