    Hello Onyeka,

At Konga, shipping charges within a seller's residential state are capped at a maximum fee of N500 while outside areas are capped at N1000. This means if you are based in Lagos, you are required to ship orders within metro cities at N500 while you are required to ship to other outlying areas within Lagos at a maximum rate of N1000.
if you decide to ship to another state outside Lagos, your shipping rate will be set to a maximum of N1000 while rural areas within other states will be set at maximum of N1500.

For products within your category, we advise that you consider product bundling to drive more sales and reduce shipping costs. For instance you can consider bundling the following items- Transmission Fluid, Engine Oil & Coolant. You can simply name these items "Motor Kit Bundle".

Shipping charges on these items will be spread across the bundle as they will be packaged as one item, hence the term bundling. For more on bundling please click here http://community.konga.com/thread/bundling-your-products-to-drive-sales

    Hi,

The recent policy on "non - shippable" items through Konga Express has impacted negatively on my store
My store sells automotive products – mostly lubricants (transmission fluids, coolant etc.).

One of the problems that has arisen is that customers order for items and delivery cost is invoiced at KExpress prices, which I assume calculates according to distance and weight of item(s). Most times the shipping cost is greater than the cost of item(s). This cost is unfavorable to the seller and also the buyer.

When I try to update the delivery rate to reflect Courier plus/DHL etc. prices, there’s a restriction on the maximum charge for delivery within/rest of a State.

Notifying the buyer of the increase in delivery cost, due to our need to secure an alternative courier seems dodgy as they were already invoiced a delivery amount.

    Kindly advice
