Really if i have any reason to quit Konga it will be because of KOS. it amazes me how they just stay on the spot to update orders that were never attempted.how can you update ''your order is on its way'', two minutes later you come up with attempted delivery, reschedule by courier when in actual sense no attempt was made. this is so frustrating and makes doing business on konga tiring . i have couple of orders like this today that was never attempted. but updated deceitfully.i have got an order that arrived anambra since 25th of Jan,even wrote a mail to sellerservices ,they promise to look into why no attempt has been made yet to deliver this item, but up till this moment nothing has been done so far.Sometimes i wish i could deliver myself to customers outside Lagos. All my self-fulfill delivery rate within Lagos has been 99% leaves me wondering why KOS deliveries a '' pain in the neck''

Konga should be very happy now that the order i complained about had eventually failed delivery , all thanks to Konga and KOS. This is an order that was placed and shipped 30mins later after it was placed because customer' pleaded with me to ship immediately to hasten the delivery process. Got to the customer's location 2days later and was being updated everyday has ''your order is on its way for 5 consecutive days, and on each occasion it was updated as ''attempted delivery reschedule by courier'' . This simply means it was being taken out for delivery but the customer was never contacted on each of these days. Even when i lodged a complain about the urgency of the order' knowing it was time bound,KOS with their deficient staff was not bothered. and now on the 6th day after val, customer requested for a return which am very sure KOS might have made so much money and probably smiling to the bank as the order failed delivery.
as much as i would not dispute the fact that some customers could be very funny and deceitful with their orders, it is worthy of note that my failed deliveries caused by KOS outnumbered the ones caused by buyers. Only if konga knew how much they are missing out with KOS, they will restructure all necessary mechanism to facilitate effective deliveries. Am very disappointed konga.

And i can imagine this will be one of the reasons there are a lot of cancelled orders on konga now. there was a time i was sent a mail that i had a failed delivery for my product.i called the customer and she told me that KOS did not come to the address she gave, rather they went to another place and called her to come and pick up. she refused to go despite my plea. i even told the customer i will pay her transport just to make sure i dont have a cancelled/failed delivery but she would not bulge. eventually it became a returned order. i suggest konga should work more on the kos rather than thinking the sellers are the issue when there is a returned order. sometimes konga think its as a result of poor communication with the buyer that results in this problem.no wonder there are now a lot of cancelled and returned order on konga lately. its so bad for business

    Hello Chinwe,

    Thank you for your suggestions.

These and many others are some of the options we might be considering however we have to factor into consideration the amount of space that will be needed hence we will need to think this through for both the customer, the seller dropping off and the available space at each center.

    Hello all,

i think that Konga and KOS need to look into another delivery option: PICK UP FROM KOS OFFICE.
i both sell and buy on Konga, and have experienced the false update to delivery attempted more than once. I have to call them and track them down to their office to collect. This in most cases might be better, at least, the recipient is more flexible and collects at their own time.
This option should attract even lower delivery costs (obviously) and made available only only fully paid up orders.
    For your consideration.

Mr teju, when mails are been sent, apart from apologies, what else is been done.KOS is the major problem Konga has.you can imagine last week they told a client that their bus has issues for days,( Port Kos) the customer waited patiencely. 4days later without even calling the client they got to his house when he was not around, without attempting delivery again, they updated it to failed delivery.Customer now pleading for his order.they are returning that order now back to me as failed delivery.who is deceiving who?
If Kos not checked same way konga monitors unshipped order, they we loose thier merchant to other hungry competative selling platform.

    Hello Esohwode,

We try to ensure orders are delivered within the specified timeline communicated to both customers and merchants. Usually, delays in delivery are experienced only in extenuating circumstances. The 3-9 working days is also calculated from the day the order is successfully placed.

If there is an order that has exceeded the 3-9 working days deadline from the day order was placed for this location in question, kindly send a mail to sellerservices @konga.com with the affected order number.

    Thank you.

isn't this ridiculous? Konga wants merchant to ship items almost immediately after they are placed which is a welcome move but was shocked with the kind of response i received this evening. a customer called me to complained that he got an SMS that his order was on its way, called the number all through when the dispatch rider fail to show up but his calls was never answered. According to him he said he is traveling, hence the reason why he ordered the item. i decided to contact konga about the urgency of the order and i received a shocker. ''Please tell the customer that orders that has arrived the customer's location will be delivered within 3-9 business working days''. Is this for real. do konga put together the time it probably takes the merchant to ship, and the time it took on transit before reaching the customer's location? and now they expect a customer that has probably waited up to 7 business days from the time his order was placed to wait for another 9days to receive his item? This is really sad considering customer's interest is time bound. Please work on your lapses
