    Good day Konga,

I own a Health and Beauty store on Konga, and basically what i sell are Perfumes, Body Mist, Body spray, Body Lotions, Toners, Cleansers, Bath oil among other general beauty products.

I was so shocked to get an order for Bath oil and body lotion, which i took to Ogba center to be told they no longer accept items in liquid form, even if it's bubble wrapped, cause they bust and merchants will keep asking for refunds. I asked how i was supposed to ship out the orders and was told to either self fulfill or use other couriers.

Now the issue is this, i don't have the luxury of time hence having an online shop works for me, and if K-express pride itself as a national Delivery Company, while can't they device a way of shipping liquids without it spilling, but they expect other couriers to do that for them?

In summary, is it that K Express is no longer available for health and beauty store owners cause most of our products fall under their prohibited list, i really i can;t imagine them saying no to all perfumes and body lotion order.

    This issue also affects me,
    question:
if i decide to incur extra cost for cartons would k-express be willing to ship?
what other courier company does konga have outstanding arrangements with (i.e negotiated reduced shipping price)

    Hello Nnaji,

Kindly note that KOS is an independent Logistics company and as such sets its own policies.

KOS is reluctant to ship liquid because only a few merchants package this category of products in the appropriate way to prevent spillage and other forms of damage while in transit. In essence, bubble-wrapping is not enough; a body lotion is best shipped in a hard carton, big enough to contain the item and still have some space for padding.

You are advised to repack the rejected item in the way stated above and try re-shipping.

    Do have a good day.
