    uhnnnn...i still don't know how this will work, i have two questions below:
    
    1. What if in a month you dont have any order, will you still pay the flat fee?
    2. What if in a month you have an order like 1500 and after paying commission you have 1350, will you still pay the flat fee of 2500?
    3. How does the introduction of monthly membership fee increase selling

    Dear All,
    Thank you for your valuable suggestions thus far,  we understand your concerns regarding the monthly membership fees,  we believe that this will prove to be an effective method towards filtering out less serious sellers and more trading attention can be directed from buyers to only credible Konga sellers , we expect that this will yield to more sales for all committed to building a successful online marketplace.
    
    Also, we are currently working on a method that will help us identify serious buyers and less serious buyers on Konga Mall based on their purchasing history,  this will ensure only serious transactions are made to your stores, which will in turn reduce returns and high cancellation rates.

    What do i stand to gain paying N2,500 monthly?? FRee advert? No more commission?? Good customer service??? Free pick of items from seller?? Immediate delivery of returned items??
    
    Kindly let us know how the N2,500 will be of benefit to us as "Filtering unserious sellers is too vague" Plus unserious buyers should be filtered first,.

    @Teju, the discussion thread you recommended does not answer any of OP's questions. I'll ask again: How exactly does a monthly membership fee benefit anyone else besides Konga?

    I dont think this idea is good for business,  apart from paying commision. All this will make the price go up. 2,500 is alot monthly, there are times when there is no sales at all.

    Konga needs to address a lot of issues before introducing any fees.
    1. Customers are not contacted for alot of deliveries done through KExpress. The drivers will update delivery status as "rescheduled by customer" or "rejected by customer" while in all honestly customers were not contacted. All these orders end up being returned to the seller. Train your drivers so they know the importance of successful deliveries
    2. The current POD process needs to be abolished, alot of sellers are hurting from POD as it encourages unserious buyer
    3. Real time tracking updates for orders that are shipped so customers are aware in advance when orders will be delivered. The current systems order are stuck in a place for 4-5 days with no updates.
    4. Allow free shipping at the product level....introduce another attribute during the product creation so the seller can elect shipping options ---free shipping etc
    5. Introduce "ship to state" attributes at the product level...this way a seller can manage the state they choose to ship an item to.
    6. Rejected orders should not be accepted at the point of delivery....let the buyer return item on their own..
    
    Again the current platform works well for buyers with the buyer protection promise, while sellers are feeling the pain. Konga without your sellers there wont be this much success.  You need your sellers as much as you need your buyers. Please start working on these improvements ASAP.

    @Abimbola Konga has a lot of work to do from their part,  an order I shipped last week Tuesday hasn't been delivered, within Lagos oooo. And konga's talking about N2500 to filter unserious sellers, will N2500 bring more orders to my store? For someone like me that ships almost immediately.

    Sellers are still trying to recover from the trauma of self-fulfil and now N2500 membership fee, not N1000 ooo N2500. In   this age where there's a lot of competition and options out there. Okay ooo.
