I want to ask how commission is deducted on free shipping item. Which of the following is applicable please
a). Konga deducts shipping charge from the amount paid by buyer before deducting the commission
b). konga deduct commission from the amount paid by customer, then deduct shipping charge
For example, if a free shipping item is sold at #5000, 5% commission and the cost of shipping is #1000
a). If a is what konga applies then
#5000- shipping=#5000- #1000= #4000
Konga commission= 0.05 × #4000= #200
Then the seller gets #4000- commission=#4000- #200= #3800
b). If b is what konga applies
Konga's commission= #5000 × 0.05= #250
Then #5000- #250= #4750
#4750- shipping= #4750 - #1000= #3750
Therefore the seller gets #3750 after deduction of commission and shipping
Please kindly clarify. Thanks

Commission are charged on the price of the item only, without the shipping charge. Shipping charges are deducted after the order has been marked as delivered using K-express.
For other 3rd party deliveries, only commissions are deducted, while setting your price, please put this into consideration.
In this case above, option B is applicable.
