Okay, its not just a random thing but its the deep pain I feel speaking. Imagine the stress konga put one through to dispatch items you know , to end up getting updates for failed delivery.

Like does it mean this customers never intended buying in the first place? The worst case is they return for no reason. For one, I have put on my store No returns BUT I refuse to understand why konga does not stick to store rules. How can I spend money to get these things delivered for absolutely no reward.

Meanwhile I sent a courier to drop off at KOS cos of time constraint and they actually made him buy tape for #250 , which i still had to pay extra for his time queuing at KOS, airtime spent calling the customers etc all for nothing.

At the end of they day, I feel I've reached the peak , constant returns is killing my business- plus my goods are not poor - that's not the problem. If konga cant make them pay upfront for goods then its not working.

Returns in this format only works in advance countries, thats' even after upfront payment not on delivery. The solution is prepayment or customer orders from sellers within their state and collect from closest KOS location , then leave it there if its not what they want , moreso customer rating where sellers rate buyers too and other sellers can learn not to trade with bad buyers. Customers on ebay who even pay upfront get ratings from sellers. It's fact, some people just want to frustrate their fellow human. How can you order my goods all the way from kotangora and return it to lagos for no reason (My humble suggestion.s) But just do something, or you'll be killing rather than healing businesses. The economy is bad enough.

As for me, I'm waiting to see the extent of returns from this yakata. All I've seen so far is rejected. If account no balance to positive, then its a waste of resource.

Anyone here who feels same or you think its not bad, pls share , how do you do it?
    First timer here.

    Thanks-

    Hello Uju,

    Hello Uju,

Returns are sent to merchant's selected returns location. If this is not the case, kindly send a mail to sellerservices@konga.com with your previously selected location and the location you were informed to pick up your order for proper investigation.

Also, if you have items that got lost in transit, you can file for claims and payment will be made for these lost items. This will not apply to items that were not picked up from your selected returns location after the specified pick up period sent to you have lapsed.

Kindly send a mail to ordercontinuity@konga.com with details of the affected orders for a follow up.

I personally have had it up to my neck and also considering quitting konga come 2017. Not only is Konga after its own gain but has also devised means of stealing from its merchants.
I have some orders that were delivered early this year whose funds are still in Escrow. When I contacted Konga, I was told this orders got lost in transit and I'm wondering how an order that got lost was updated as delivered.
Not only that, Konga seized 4 items in an order that failed delivery. I contacted Konga several times requesting that this order be returned to me and all I got was apologies and empty promises of returning the item to as soon as possible. The next I got was that I was contacted to pick up this item at a certain location other than my preferred location but didn't show up. Therefore the item had been seized and could not be returned to me.
The newest is that returns are now sent to various locations as they deem fit without considering that you are already running at a loss when orders are not delivered. What is the point of having a preferred location if I still have to travel miles to get my returns?
Truthfully, selling on Konga is no longer fun

I am also really thinking of leaving the Konga portal for good. It has really become a frustrating affair selling on Konga; from excessive returns from unserious customers, to Konga shifting its goal post every minute to suit itself and totally forgetting its merchant. It is no longer a Win-Win situation selling on Konga; merchants are virtually slaving to please customers and keep Konga in business. They are only interested in their own commission and charges, nothing else.

    Hello Michael,

This was a technical glitch that affected several stores during the Yakata sales. If you had initially sent a mail which was unattended to, please forward these mails and the affected orders to sellerservices@konga.com'>sellerservices@konga.com for a prompt resolution.

@Moyosoluwa, do confirm you have registered for Kongapay to be able to access the funds in your wallet. Also commissions are higher for bronze plans. If you are not on the bronze plan and not currently enjoying our loan facilities but have higher commissions, please send a mail to sellerservices@konga.com'>sellerservices@konga.com with the affected orders for proper investigation.

I think am stopping sell on Konga... Dont understand this... I was persuaded to participate in their so called yakata sales by some of their staffs who won't stop calling till i have submitted my CSV file for yakata items.... WHEN i finally did submit some few product code to be sold on yakata, i was told that only the items i submitted will be made visible on my store during yakata..... All of a sudden they turned on all my items even paused items and sold out items..... first day of yakata i got almost 100 orders and i called them to complain and put my store on vacation.... they refused to put it on vacation until orders have gotten to 200 orders and they expect me to ship these electronics orders all out which came in at a ridiculously low price as most of these orders came from paused items, even if my business is being financed by the Government of China, how on earth am i supposed to get finance for these orders and now my store was suspended for a mistake made by konga....
i guess here is where i call it a day with konga and try other platforms who still needs merchants cos i guess konga doesnt anymore.

Konga needs to change this POD option. It is not a way to do business to say the least. To say many Konga customers are unserious is an understatement. We merchants always come out in losses, while Konga will earn commissions and subscription fees no matter what. Unrealistic shipping rates that you are forced to adhere to help help you incur more losses. It is getting to the point where one seriously needs to weigh exactly what are you gaining from Konga? Other sites that ship only paid orders have near ZERO return rates!
Happy Merchants are good for business Konga

Sometime ago I wrote about this same issue, but all Konga sais is POD generates the most sale. If konga was not making profit off our commission, store subscription and KOS maybe they would understand our pain .
