    Dear Konga,

I just received text message forcing me to use KongaPay. As I have stated before and will continue to mention, I do not feel safe putting my card details on your site as it does not seem secure to me. Please note that when signing up to be a merchant, the payment agreement was to pay to my bank account.

Not to be bad blood or anything but I do not intend to leave my card details on any site as it is a personal policy which I do not intend to change.

Having me put my card details on your site should be a choice. If you want to force me to do such, you need to sign a contract stating that you will be held liable for any suspicious transactions on my card. If you are not willing to take that risk, neither am I.

am not in support of this konga pay thing. as far security is concern it is not safe to dish out my BVN number, what if your system is hacked and all of our information will be exposed. giving you my atm card number including the Cvv number is like giving access to all my accounts to be monitored to also withdraw at will which is not safe for me. konga will held responsible if any money that is withdrawn from my account without my prior notice.
there should other ways of doing this apart from this BVN stuff. pls rethink for your good and our good.
    thanks

Horlah, we are not forcing you to use KongaPay. We respect your right to transact business on the konga platform or any other platform for that matter. We have chosen to use KongaPay as our means of transferring funds from one party to another. The wallet system requires too much intervention and management. We take security of your personal information very seriously. We have put in place numerous measures to ensure that your personal information is not compromised in any way.

We hope that you will chose to sign up for KongaPay. You'll find that it is more convenient than the wallet system and allows you to receive your funds quicker.

I agree with you, Horlah D.
If use of konga pay is mandatory, pay all my outstanding sales proceeds and close my store. I do not think we should be forced to share our card/bank/bvn details with a non-financial/regulatory body.

    thanks
